Digital Spy has a new interview with Paul, to mark release of his debut solo release EP One.

In the interview, Paul talks about the inspiration and influences behind his new EP: “My solo EP could fit in anywhere from the Britpop days to now I think – I haven’t paid too much attention to fashion and I’m not a mainstream pop star these days.

“I work with some left field, avant grade artists who have an all consuming devotion to the creation of music. I’m just plugged into that scene.

“The music scene was pretty mad back at the height of Britpop, most of what I could tell you is unprintable, so I just laugh at today’s madness.
